A popular local sauce brand that previously appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank is hosting a pop-up restaurant in West Philadelphia, complete with a special event for First Friday.
Jorrae and Kelly Beard, the folks behind Joyce’s LuLu Bang Sauces and Marinades, opened their pop-up, Lulu Bang Burgers & Wangs, at Common Table (310 S. 48th St.) in West Philly on Jan. 2. Part of The Enterprise Center’s restaurant incubator, the pop-up will run through March 31.
Today, the sisters celebrate First Friday at the pop-up beginning at 7 p.m. with their “Soulful Fridays” promotion, complete with food, music, and tastings.
